The beautiful Dordogne - something for everyone
Beautiful countryside rich in heritage and steeped in history, with a vibrant community and every amenity - the Dordogne offers something for everyone!
The Mill is surrounded by beautiful countryside - rolling hills of vineyards and fields, interspersed with woods and crossed by streams and rivers - exploring it could easily take a fortnight. Walkers will love the marked walking routes that link the local villages, which are also suited to mountain bikers. The area also has disused railway lines converted to walking and cycling tracks, and there are plenty of hillside tracks to woo the more adventurous walker or biker. Hire a canoe to explore the Dordogne, Vezere and Dropt rivers up close, and for those who prefer the big picture, why not take a balloon ride for breathtaking views of the Dordogne's medieval towns and fortifications.
Artists, whether painters or photographers, will love the area - landscapes, waterscapes and medieval architecture being in abundance.
